Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Guest Information
The health and safety of our guests and staff is our absolute priority, so as a precaution, Alton Towers Resort Theme Park will be closed until further notice due to Covid-19.
We are in contact with the relevant authorities and will work to reopen the Resort to guests as soon as it’s appropriate to do so. We will be contacting guests with bookings to stay at the Resort up until the 25th April 2020.
We are monitoring the situation closely and are ready to respond quickly to developments. If your booking is affected, you can:
- Move your booking to a later date.
- Move your money to a voucher to use later.
- Cancel your booking.
I would like to move my money to a Voucher.
The quickest and simplest way to move your booking is to move the money from your booking to a voucher to use at a later date.
Just visit ‘Manage My Booking’ and select ‘Voucher’ and we will then send you details on how to redeem your voucher for a future stay.
The voucher will be available to use online from 4th May 2020, or if you want to use it before then please call our Guest Experience Team from the 23rd March 2020 and they will be able to help you.
I would like to cancel my booking:
If you would like to cancel your booking please visit ‘Manage My Booking’ and follow the instructions.
Once your booking is confirmed cancelled we will send you a cancellation email, please remember that refunds take up to 14 working days.
If you’re cancelling your booking outside of the above closure dates, cancellation terms and conditions apply and refunds may take longer to process.
I would like to move my booking to a later date:
If you would like to move your booking to a later date, please contact our Guest Experience Team using the number at the bottom of your confirmation. We anticipate a high number of calls over the next few days and appreciate your patience while we work hard to respond to all enquiries.
My booking is for a date after the 25th April 2020, can I still contact you?
We anticipate high call volumes over the next few days, so if you want to make a booking the quickest and best way to do that is to visit our website or if you have questions about an existing booking you can visit our Help Centre for all the up to date information. We are prioritising guests who will be arriving at our Resorts in the next few weeks. If you still wish to speak to our Guest Experience Team you may experience long wait times.
