Alton Towers Waterpark - Know before you go
Before you visit, please read our frequently asked questions about your visit to the Waterpark.
When will the Waterpark reopen?
The Alton Towers Waterpark will be reopening from 25th July in line with the latest government guidance on swimming pools and indoor leisure facilities. The Waterpark will initially open with significantly reduced capacity and a range of new measures in place in response to COVID-19. We are encouraging all guests to arrive ready to get into the water. This will help us to manage the movement of people through the Changing Rooms.
What will the Waterpark operating hours be?
The Waterpark will be open from 10am until 4pm, with the outdoor pools open between 10.30am and 4pm.
I have purchased Waterpark tickets with my Short Break, what happens to these?
Waterpark tickets purchased as part of a Short Break will be valid during your stay dates. We ask that you pre-book a free reservation through our website to let us know when you plan to visit the Waterpark. This helps us manage capacities to maintain a safe distance between family groups in the Changing Rooms, cafes and other communal areas.
I had tickets that specified a time slot/entry time to the Waterpark - what happens when you reopen?
The Alton Towers Waterpark will be open between 10am and 4pm. All guests with pre-booked tickets will be able to enter the Waterpark any time from 10am.
