Guaranteed Entry for Short Breaks Guests
If I have a short break booked and I’m planning to go on the theme park during my stay, do I need to pre-book my tickets?
Everybody visiting the theme park needs a pre-booked ticket: without it, you will not be permitted to enter. If you’re staying at the Resort or at one of our Partner Hotels and have added theme park tickets to your booking, you don’t need to do anything. Your tickets will be accounted for within the allocation for hotel guests on the dates of your stay.
If you’re staying on-site as a Merlin or Alton Towers passholder, or if you have purchased a promotional ticket for the theme park, your tickets have automatically been accounted for and you don’t need to use the pre-book links for day guests. By trying to pre-book when your ticket has already been accounted for, you are denying someone else the chance to visit the park that day.
Please be aware that there will be no ‘on the day’ tickets on sale at the hotel whilst you are staying, so if you arrive at the hotel without theme park tickets for that day, or a pass, you will not be allowed to enter. You can add tickets to your short break by visiting Manage My Booking here.
