Overnight Stays From 12th April - 16th May 2021 Information.

In line with the latest Government guidance, we are delighted to confirm that we plan to open Alton Towers Theme Park and selected self-contained accommodation from 12th April 2021.

At present, our Woodland Lodges, Luxury Treehouses and Stargazing Pods will be open from April 12th. They offer self-contained accommodation with the necessary amenities required to open as part of ‘Step 2’ set out in the latest Government guidance. Please note that each Lodge, Treehouse and Pod can only be used by members of the same household. Under current guidelines, our on-site restaurants and bars cannot open but will provide a take-away service.


  • For breakfast, a takeaway hot drink and breakfast bap will be available from the Crooked Spoon. This includes a hot breakfast bap (sausage, bacon or vegan sausage) and a juice, water or hot drink.


  • During the evening. guests staying overnight will be able to order food and drink from an in-room menu direct to their lodge via the Alton Towers App. For breakfast, a takeaway hot drink and breakfast bap will be available. Guests will be contacted with more information before their stay.

Evening Entertainment:

  • Evening entertainment will be available in line with the latest government guidance. Our entertainment will be available for all Shortbreaks guests and will be located outside (weather permitting). Our entertainment schedule can be found upon check-in.

How will the toilets and showers for the Stargazing Pods operate?

  • To help us carefully manage and maintain the highest of hygiene standards, there will be a limited number of guests allowed in the Stargazing Pods facilities building at any one time. The facilities will also be manned by a member of our team from 7 am to 10 pm and enhanced cleaning regimes will be operational at all times. Additional guest toilets have also been made available and are located in the check-in building.
